50 Headshots or composite cards
(either or both are acceptable). Refer to
Printing Services for
headshot or composite card orders.
Resume must be attached to back of headshots only.
Resume must be on 8 X 10 paper. Bring 25
copies. If you need an example please email
info@conventionexpo.com.
Models only, 6 to 10 Enlargements (9 X
12 no borders) for models only,
laser copies are okay. This only applies
to models purchasing portfolio books from
Convention Expo.
9" X 12" Portfolio book (Must be
ordered at initial registration. Cost is $35,
Cash Only- no credit cards or checks and
will be delivered in Dallas.)
Blue jeans (well fitted) pants,
or shorts to wear with agency t shirt (t-shirt
provided at expo).
Glue stick and scissors (do not
carry in hand luggage).

Sportswear Audition:
Sports outfit. Please refer to
Frequently Asked Questions "What To Wear
Section"
Dance & Singing Auditions:
Outfit of your choice. Please also see
"What should dancers and singers know about
bringing a music CD" in the FAQ section of this
website.
Swimsuit Audition:
Females must wear a tasteful one or two-piece
swimsuit. You must go barefoot. For males,
swim trunks should be no longer than mid thigh (no
jams or surfer pants). You will need a cover up or
robe, however after the audition you must change
as no robes or bathing suits will allowed in the
hotel public areas. You must be approved by
your Director to participate in this audition.
You must have approval from your Director to
Audition. If you have been approved for
Swimsuit you may audition for Sportswear.
Cold Read Audition::
Clothing is your choice, show your personality.
Monologue Audition:
Solid color top (no black or white) no logos,
patterns, or busy prints. Natural hair & makeup,
no jewelry or props. Have a 60 second monologue
memorized by arrival. (You can go to your local
library to find one or make one up yourself).
Please bring two copies of your monologue.
Shared Scene Audition:
Solid color top (no white or black), no busy patterns,
prints or logos on shirt, solid bottoms, rehearsed
script provided by expo staff. (These scripts
can be found on our website, make sure age appropriate).
Please bring two copies of your script.
Body fitted clothing for
the rest of the weekend. No
jewelry for females with the exception of simple
stud earrings.
Very natural make-up and hair
for the entire weekend.
